I teach in Vocational High School 1 Dompu. Alhamdulillaah.. It gives positive impacts for my life. I make friends with new people, teach new students, and am busy with new activities. Being a teacher is not about teaching English lessons only, but is about educating, motivating, and inspiring. English lessons that a teacher gives in the class oftenly forgotten by students, but motivations that a teacher gives will be valuable and beneficial in one's life.
My daddy always suggests me to not only teach them English, but to add Islamic lessons and motivate them. "If we teach students sincerely and add Islamic lessons a little bit, InshaAllah.. it will be becoming our amalan jariyyah" my daddy said. :') May Allah bless us .. <3
He is the one who really wants me to be a teacher for I will always have time for my family and society (not spending my whole time in the office because I am a wife and mommy to be), my knowledge will be useful in the world and the hereafter because of sharing 'ilmu. Life is about giving a life to our society. His reasons to make me become a teacher are totally correct! Even I teach in many classes, I could still work in self-supporting institution, attend many agendas, gather with families, and bla bla bla....
If I motivate my students to be the best and do their best I must ensure that I do what I say. Our action inspires more than our words. It becomes a big motivation for me to keep learning. I am grateful and thankful to be a part of Vocational High School 1 Dompu since I am trusted to do many things there. I'm highly motivated by the students when I see their ability in sewing, cooking, making cakes, making up, playing many kinds of instruments, dancing traditional dances, and many more related to the skill that every girl should competent in. I wanna learn, learn, learn all of them because learning process is never end. :* ^_^ Alhamdulillaaahhirabbil'alamiin...
