Tambora Festival 2017

In April 11, 1815, Mount  Tambora located in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara erupted gigantically. This is the biggest eruption in the world. There were many victims caused by this gigantic eruption. Besides, it changed the world's climate. After a one year eruption, 1816 was becoming "a year without summer" for the climate changing drastically in North America and Europe as the effect of the dust produced by the Tambora's eruption.

To commemorate the Mount Tambora's eruption, West Nusa Tenggara Province government will be holding a festival known as " Festival Pesona Tambora".  After successfully conducting an opening event in 2016 named "Tambora Menyapa Dunia" Dompu's government makes Festival Pesona Tambora as an annual event of Dompu Tourism office which is aimed to attract tourists' interest.

This year, Dompuneses are ready to jazzing up the "Tambora Festival". There will be many delightful agendas to celebrate this great annual event. They are as follows:

Mount Tambora National Park Court will also be offering several agendas such as Jamboree Conservation of Tambora Enchantment”, Tambora Enchantment Investigating with a target 1000 participants, brooming the mount, and eating corn that will be held in the Savannah Doro Ncanga.

The first one was in 2016 in the “Rimpu Parade” and the second one was yesterday, (1/4) in the “Katente labo Kanggondo Tembe Nggoli Parade”. These appreciations are the results of the cooperation between Dompu’s government and the whole society who participated in those big events. MY 2016 ^-^

Hello deary.. Looooonggg time no write!
I miss you so much..
It’s been almost a year.. I dunno why.. In 2016, I was so lazy to write and share all the things I did and reached. Tonight, I am not celebrating the new year eve, but I am trying to flashback anything happened during my 2016. Honestly, my 2016 was not as amazing as my expectations that I arranged in 2015. It was filled by tears, tiredness, boredom, sickness and other pitiful things. I always grumbled, grumbled, and keep doing that because of my disappointment. Astaghfirullahhal’adziim.. Astaghfirullahhal’adziim..
This afternoon, I was reading a book then I suddenly thought of all the blessings He has been giving to me. Astaghfirullah.. Actually, there were many precious things that must be grateful for. Ease and difficulty are the flavor in our lives that cannot be denied. As human being, we oftenly forget one thousand blessings due to one sadness. I do understand it is very difficult to lose something/someone that we really love, to fail in reaching our dreams, and many others. I know, it is difficult, but this is life. Life must go on no matter how difficult it is. As I know, ALLAH never put any burden on one’s shoulders without considering His slaves’ abilities in solving it. Laa Hawla Walaa Quwwata Illa Billah. Astaghfirullaahhal’adziim.. I just want to remind me, myself to always remember “after sadness there is always happiness.”
Well, now I would like to summarize the things that I should be grateful for and proud of:

a. VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 1 DOMPU
I started implementing my knowledge at the beginning of 2016 in the Vocational High School 1 Dompu as an English teacher. I was accepted without any doubt and bribery. Everything ran fruitfully. Alhamdoolillaah..

b. ALL LIFE LINE NET
I was given a golden opportunity to plunge into NGO called ALL LIFE LINE NET. It is a NGO which works on the development of seaweed located in Tolokalo, Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara. I cooperated with Japanese along six months. There were many things that I got from them. I am forever grateful.. Alhamdulillaahh..

c. PERKUMPULAN MC DOMPU
I was gathered in one of the Dompunese’ communities. That is PERKUMPULAN MC DOMPU. I cannot describe my feeling. I am so happy for this amazing networking. Being a MC is SESUATU for me. Especially If I am united with all the senior MCs of Dompu. They are multi-talented and have many experiences. I love them so much and I love what I do. Being a Master of ceremony is an activity that I love to do since I was at Junior High School. It broadens my networking, my knowledge, and brings me everywhere. Alhamdulillaahhirabbil’alamiin once again..

d. YPAD (YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN ABDI DOMPU)
I was trusted to teach English for Young Learners in YPAD (YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN ABDI DOMPU). I do not have many sweet words to praise ALLAH SWT, I just wanna say “Alhamdoolillaaahh..” I met smart and active students, cooperative manager and teachers, friendly yet grumpy mommies, and I implemented my EYL knowledge. MashaAllah.. Allahu Akbar.. Thank Allah SWT.

e. PADUAN SUARA SWARA KENCANA KAB, DOMPU
Once more, I am grateful for meeting new brothers and sisters, gathering in many prestigious agendas conducted by Dompu’s government, and meeting “mama-mama”. Alhamdulillaaahh..

f. WE SAVE
It is a voluntary education in Dompu which teaches English, dances, songs, Qur’an recitation paid with “ AN ORGANIC RUBBISH”. All of WE SAVE members are truly amazing in developing Dompu’s educational, economical, environmental sectors. I am so proud of them! Thanks for loving me, guys! Alhamdoolillaahh...

g. KARANG TARUNA
