Result will never betray its process. The best Saturday ever in the campus journey had been passed. Alhamdoolillaahhirabbil’alamiin..Because of a thousand blessings poured by ALLAH SWT we had finished our responsibility as university students on October 17, 2015!
1.600 graduates were born by the White Campus from various disciplines. This was the longest graduation ceremony ever in UMM. Happy faces were emitted from civitas academica of UMM, all honorable guests, and especially those who were being graduated! The euphoria could not be hidden :’) Laa Hawlaa Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaahil ‘Aliyyil ‘Adziim..
From that moment, we officially become alumni of University of Muhammadiyah Malang. All praise is due to Allah SWT who has given my friends and I thousands of gifts in our lifetime. We did it! after passing through all the ordeal, learning process, examinations, and many others. We enjoyably celebrated the most special moment in the campus. Sacrifices, tears, tiredness, storms and stresses were totally paid off!!! Being graduated on time was my main expectation :’) Marratan ukhroo.. Alhamdulillaahhhirabbil’alamiin..
My classmates.. "cote nyusul yah Kawan"ku sayang :') "
There were many preparations made by us before our graduation day. We went to one office to the other offices to be guided by our advisors, looked for references in libraries, book stores, and on the internet, printed the revised pages, waited for the “ACC” while being stressful (HAHAHAHAHHH),dag-dig-dug serrrrrr in preparing and facing the thesis final examination, went to malls in order to go shopping high heels, bags, clothes, and till we went to beauty salons. Ulalaaaaaa... Cuetttaaarrrrrrr membahana bahadahayyyy prosesnyahah (HAHAHHAHHAHH).
In the early morning, Echy woke me up and asked me to take a bath. Time showed us 03.00 a.m. Echy and I went to the selected-beauty salon at 04.00 a.m. Sleepiness could not stop my happiness (HIHIHIHIHIHHH). We brought all my stuffs (kabaya, high heels, hijab, accessories, a purse, a graduation pin, and an invitation). The weather outside was little bit cold and the road was still noiseless. When we arrived in the beauty salon, we must queue up #uhuk #AllisForGraduation. :*
Five girls were waiting for their turn included me. It took a little bit long time. I still remember that 30 minutes were needed to draw one’s EYEBROWS only (WKWKWKKK).
"30 minutes spent to draw thoseeyebrows hahaha"
I tried to dress up while waiting for my turn, but unfortunately I could not dress up my sarong (sarong songket made in my hometown). I forgot to bring a cummerbund or even a belt to bind my sarong. Yuhuuu.. Lucky me, I was helped by a mother who escorted her son. She is Dompenese too. My friend’s mother. Thank you ibuuuu J
Timepassed by, At 6.30 o’clock, I had not finished it yet. I was anxious thinking of time. In our general rehearsal, committes reminded us that we must already in at 7 o’clock. I repeatedly practiced my speech softly. Alhamdulillaah.. I was cream of the cream as the representative of all the graduates to deliver a speech in front of honorable guests in my bachelor degree graduation.
"Agung n Echy.. My best! "
On the other hand, Unfortunately, my parents did not come because they both were sick. But I set teeth to give my best for I was sure, my parents and family could see and listen to my speech from miles away with their love!
"When I was giving a speech"
Furthermore, I was not alone. My fifth sibling and I were graduated on the same day, date, period, and year. So I did not get sad. I cried only twice (When I were in the beauty salon and in the UMM Dome hehehh) Yuhuuuuuuuuuuu.. high five bradaaaa!! :* He took informatic engineering and I took English Education.
"My brother"
Finally, After finishing all things in the beauty salon, we went to UMM Dome. On our way, my eyelashes almost dislodged. Why?? It was caused by riding the motorcycle!! Echy could not ride it, so whether I wanted to do it or not, I must do it!! My right hand hold the right steering wheel, whereas my left hand protected my eyelashes. “Bulu mata kuuuuuuuuuuuu” I shouted along the road. That was so funny and foolish! Wonder woman in action!! (HHAHAHAAHHH). Thank you ALLAH, we safely arrived in Dome. #LOL
To get a degree, hard efforts must be done. We must be able to throw away our fear, take benefits of our advisors' comments n suggestions (How if we always get "spicy comments"? Take it as the biggest motivation! "I must prove that I CAN!!".
Additionally, we must control our mind, look for friends who have the same missions and do actions to reach them, motivate each other (talk less, do more, right? Hahahahh), remember parents' expectations, manage our time, focus on our thesis not to spend lots of time to go shopping n travelling, and always imagine to pursue another dream. Last but not least, "I must finish it faster! Another dream awaits! " Keep that motivation in our mind!!! *note: travelling could be done after the graduatiooonnn!!! Yuhuuuuuu
Graduation is just a celebration, but the most important thing is taking benefit from the process. God bless us coleages wherever we are. InshaAllah everything we got during the learning process in UMM will be beneficial for our near future. Lots of thanks for our parents, our siblings, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, all beloved lecturers, and all kind friends :’) I love you all :’’’))))))).
No matter how big the world is, our dream is bigger, and Allah is the Almighty. Keep going, keep moving forward, and good luck for our next journey. Congratulations to all the graduates!!
SEE YOU ALL ON TOP GUYS
